The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Y&R Prepares for Adam’s Comeback – Major Clues and Cast Departures Set Up Return

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the Adam (Justin Hartley) anvils keep dropping on the CBS soap. Justin Hartley obviously isn’t returning, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see Adam strutting back into Genoa City soon. Hints are popping up over the place, so expect more of the same in the months ahead.

Wednesday’s Y&R episode brings some tough moments for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). She’s forced to address her lingering feelings for Adam as well as how he measures up to Nick (Joshua Morrow). That could be important later. Nick brings a sense of security to Chelsea’s life and she really cares about him. However, he’s far from the dangerous bad boy Chelsea craves.

Based on how things are going right now, we could see a major clue about Adam’s return during February sweeps. It’d be a great time to show us a glimpse of Adam’s hands or perhaps the back of his head. The Young and the Restless could even give us a clue about Adam’s current state.

Is Adam being held hostage or is he simply staying away to protect his family? Could he even have amnesia? Those are all good options to consider. Regardless, you can bet that Adam isn’t dead! Y&R has been clearing a nice path for his comeback lately.

In addition to all the hints, Scott (Daniel Hall) recently headed off canvas. Graham’s (Max Shippee) story was resolved and Dina (Marla Adams) has been sent to Paris. It looks like Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) may be on the verge of hitting the road, too.

The Young and the Restless seems to be cleaning house so they can make room for Adam and all the drama he’ll bring. His return from the dead would certainly be a huge storyline. Y&R recently drew his largest weekly audience in year. They undoubtedly want to build on that momentum and the best way to do that is bringing Adam back.

Maybe some bombshell revelations will hit during this round of February sweeps. Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity could come out and we could see Adam at an undisclosed location. He might even be lurking in town. Whether Michael Muhney reprises the role or someone new steps up, everyone wants to see that first look. Muhney has been Twitter silent for over 2 months so we thinking that he is returning to play Adam Newman.

All that might leave Adam poised for an official comeback during May sweeps or possibly a bit before. They would have more Adam shockers to draw fans in if they release the first one early. Whatever the case, Y&R viewers are ready! We’ll give you updates as other news comes in. Stay tuned and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news.
