The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that one soap star just faced a crushing blow. Marla Adams (Dina) recently filled Y&R fans in on some sad news. On her Facebook page, Adams told everyone that one of her beloved dogs passed away. She had to say a tough farewell to Piper, a sweet Norfolk Terrier.
“Piper, PIPER I love you, miss you and thank you for your unconditional love like no other,” Adams said. “Frolic around heaven and chase the squirrels with your Mama, Carmel Candy.” For many people, pets are a big part of the family. Pups can certainly mean a lot to us, so it’s always sad when their short lives come to an end.
Nevertheless, Adams is incredibly grateful for the time she had with little Piper. It makes it a bit easier to bear the loss when you think about all the warm memories. Adams has had several Norfolk Terriers over the years, so this seems to be a breed she loves dearly. She’ll undoubtedly miss Piper, but the love they shared will linger on. Piper lived a great life and can now rest in peace.
As for what’s next on Y&R, the Abbott family has another crisis ahead. The Young and the Restless say Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) will have to come together. Some Newman Enterprises troubles are brewing, but there’s a good chance more Dina drama is coming up, too.
Adams is currently off screen while Dina spends some time with Abby (Melissa Ordway) in Paris. However, Adams has been doing fantastic job with this Alzheimer’s storyline. It should be interesting to see Dina’s mental state when she returns home. She’s already had a hard time remembering Traci (Beth Maitland). Will Dina forget Jack and Ashley as well?
That’s definitely a possibility they have to be prepared for. Fortunately, Dina still has some moments of clarity. The Young and the Restless should let Dina bond with her kids for a while longer. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R details emerge. Stay tuned to the CBS soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news.
