On Chesapeake shores season 4 ep2 and Jess has hopes of reopening the inn which needs lots of work she turns to her dad for help in the remodeling but he sees it as too much and doesn’t help…Bree and the actors continue to prepare for her play but feels as if the portrayal of the action of Simon isn’t a direct reflection of how she really a sees him in real life…Sarah prepares for her wedding with dress shopping but she’s unsatisfied with the dress she tries on seems to feel Kevin’s mom is overbearing …Bree and Simon celebrate her landing on the bestseller list ahead of him. She feels as if he has changed since he’s gotten back in town.
Trace and Chris struggle with how things are run down at the club…Abby’s has worries about her potential new client Derrick porters assets but is told by her boss to simply not investigate his money since the firm wants his business, Trace gives her some advice on what to do… Connor and his uncle Thomas have disagreements on if he’s a good trial lawyer or not with the case he’s been pursuing going against his wishes but they soon offer a settlement outside of court which Connor accepts.
Trace is visited from his friend Donovan who feels as if trace walked away from his tour on the road, but traces feels as if he’s just starting a new chalet in his life by working and performing in the club, Kevin’s old coach has an emergency scare that is also affecting him as he realizes he hasn’t been there for his old calve the way he should’ve been as the coach was there for him in his younger days growing up. After Abby pushes for the files on Derrick the firm lose him as a potential client. Jess and David attempt to find a new location for the inn to make her dreams come true.
As the episode closes, Things continue to heat up between Connor and Thomas as he places him back on research since he didn’t follow his wishes in the case, Jess and David find a perfect new location for the new inn. Abby blows the whistle on the porter fund against the advisement of her boss, Megan feels out of place in the family and Nick has been implicated in a fraud case against his construction company all his projects are put on hold his brother Thomas reassured him he’ll be cleared but his reputation will take a hit, Jess says her final goodbyes to the old inn as she prepares to start a new chapter at the new inn location but still takes a keepsake with her.
Ironically a piece of the sprinkler from inside the old inn to remind her so she doesn’t forget , Kevin throws a high school reunion for his old coach o comfort him as the old team wearing their old football jackets they welcome him back home as he’s released, Trace turns down an offer to leave the club and decides to stay and continue his new chapter working as a handyman there. Abby is suspended without pay as the porter funds headline in the news for running a Ponzi scheme, Abby has no regrets on what’s she’s done and neither does her boss del but he’s forced to discipline her from the corporate office.
