Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber dancing the Quickstep to “Take On Me,” by A-ha.
Judges Comments: Len: “First out, first class. I liked it very much, I liked your frame and your left hand. I love this season that the dances are longer. There were little foot faults, but overall it was full of energy.” Bruno: “That was so bright, very enthusiastic and fast. You lost synchronicity because of the speed, but the body contact was good. Very strong as a performance.” Carrie Ann: “I agree with Bruno, I love the concept and it was very challenging. You have excelled and I see you growing and the body contact was gorgeous.”
Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 8, Len 9, Bruno 8 = 25, the total for 2 weeks is 52 out of 60.
Kate Flannery and Pasha Pashkov dancing the Viennese waltz to “I Have Nothing,” by Whitney Houston.
Judges Comments: Bruno: “I love what you did with that. It was assertive and romantic, in the best possible taste. It worked wonders, really good.” Carrie Ann: “I am speechless. Your hard work paid off in spades. It was so victorious.” Len: “I am really happy. There is a step in the Vienesse waltz that I never see and you did it. I proud of you, it was great. An absolutely great performance.”
Judges Scores: Carrie Ann: 9, Len: 9, Bruno: 9 = 27, the total for 2 weeks is 51 out of 60.
Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson dancing the Quickstep to “Part-time Lover,” by Stevie Wonder.
Judges Comments: Carrie Ann: “You guys are so in sync when you dance. You had one tiny mess up with your feet, but that was ridiculously amazing.” Len: “I thought the routine was terrific. However, there was a major incident. Apart from that, I thought you did an amazing job.” Bruno: “You are a full-time dancer. Apart from that little misunderstanding, it was light, fast-paced, it was excellent work regardless.”
Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 9, Len 8, Bruno 9 = 26, the total for 2 weeks is 52 out of 60.
Karamo Brown and Jenna Johnson dancing Contemporary to “Someone You Loved,” by Lewis Capaldi.
Judges Comments: Len: “If I could sum that dance up with one word, it was fluid. The lifts were great. This has light and shade, fast and slow, I thought it was a really well-constructed dance.” Bruno: “You really were focused and had intention. There was no self-doubt, there was a wonderful balance of strength and fluidity.” Carrie Ann: “When you danced I could just feel your love and your passion, you didn’t miss one step.”
Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 9, Len 8, Bruno 8 = 25, the total for 2 weeks is 46 out of 60.
Hannah Brown and Alan Bernstein dancing the Samba to “Southbound,” by Carrie Underwood.
Judges Comments: Bruno: “Brazil to Nashville, what a party. You did it, but at times, you lose your natural bounce, not quite on the rhythm. Very good.” Carrie Ann: “You are a phenomenal dancer, but I agree with Bruno, you were ahead of the beat. I appreciate that you went for it, you are still a fantastic dancer.” Len: “That was not an easy routine, but you coped very well. Well done, I like the flair, get more pressure in your feet that will give you more hip action.”
Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 8, Len 8, Bruno 8 = 24/30, the total for 2 weeks is 49 out of 60.
Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Valentin Chmerkovskiy dancing the Jive to “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go,” by Wham.
Judges Comments: Carrie Ann: “That was amazing, to be animated is your thing. I had a blast watching you do the jive.” Len: “Well I don’t need waking up, that was decaffeinated, it was full of flavor. Val seems to be really enjoying himself.” Bruno: “Look at you, it was a great jive, you were the star and knew what you were doing.”
Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 9, Len 9, Bruno 9 = 27/30, the total for 2 weeks is 51 out of 60.
Sean Spicer and Lindsay Arnold dancing the Viennese waltz by “Somebody to Love,” by Queen.
Judges Comments: Len: “I admire your tenacity and hard work. Dancing doesn’t come easy for you but you come out every week and you give it your all and for that, I respect you.” Bruno: “The smartest you ever looked, almost regal. It was a difficult dance, but you looked like tumbleweed. You tried to do it all.” Carrie Ann: “There was really a nice tenderness to how you were dancing, I could tell by how you were holding each other. You were keeping your feet from out of you.”
Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 7, Len 7, Bruno 7 = 21/30, the total for 2 weeks is 40 out of 60.
James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater dancing the Samba to “Light It Up,” by Major Lazer feat. Nyla & Fuse ODG.
Judges Comments: Bruno: “You had a hip chain reaction, from the legs through the body, in every direction, very loose and rhythmic.” Carrie Ann: “The whole thing was ridiculous. Sometimes you do the movement so good that it can get proportioned outside of your body.” Len: “Tutty fruity, what a booty! Your bump was out of control, it was a really really good samba.”
Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 9, Len 9, Bruno 9 = 27/30, the total for 2 weeks is 53/60.

Hold your head high, you should be proud of what you did.” Len: “Such a brave thing to do, to dance with such performance that is worthy of your stepfather, and Gleb.
