Tonight’s guest judge is season four runner-up, Joey Fatone.

James Van Der Berk and partner, Emma Slater dancing the Jive to “I’m So Excited,” by the Pointer Sisters.

Judges Comments: Len: “To learn two dances is a tough call, you danced a jive with a lot of steps, I like the speed, the kicks and flicks were sharp.” Joey: “It is amazing to watch, you look effortless, you do it with a smile. I’m proud of you for doing this.” Bruno: “First out and we are on a roll, what you did you did very well. It could have a little more pump on the downbeat.” Carrie Ann: “Once again you achieved excellence. I love that there is such smoothness and finesse.”

Judges Scores: Carrie Ann: 9, Len: 9, Joey: 9, Bruno: 9 = 36/40

Sean Spicer and partner, Lindsay Arnold dancing the Argentine Tango to “Bills, Bills, Bills,” by Destiny’s Child.

Judges Comments: Joey: “I’ve watched you throughout this competition and you give it 110%, you really do. Your frame was really good, your feet, well this is the crucial time. Your fluidity is stumped, if you have that, you will go far.” Bruno: “The truth is you try very hard. You are competing with people that are better than you and it was more like an Argentine Struggle.” Carrie Ann: “I appreciate you are leveling up. I know you want to prove to everyone that you deserve to be here, the thing that is missing is the artistry.” Len: “The best thing about is that it wasn’t very long. It was just a serious of walking about, a couple of flicks – I can’t even comment on it, I didn’t like it.”

Judges Scores: Carrie Ann: 7 Len: 6, Joey: 7, Bruno: 6 = 26/40

Hannah Brown and her partner, Alan Bersten dancing the Salsa to “No Scrubs,” by TLC.

Judges Comments: Bruno: “It is so good to see your confidence build dance after dance. Tonight your timing was off, a couple of times you just lost it. But you are a star attraction.” Carrie Ann: “I love the attitude, I love the turns but your lifts were a little out of sorts. This dance was good, but it wasn’t amazing.” Len: “I thought the lifts were good, you got a little bit ahead of the music. But, full of rhythm, full of Latin flavor.” Joey: “Keep practicing the lifts, they were a little sloppy.”

Judges Scores: Carrie Ann: 8, Len: 8, Joey: 8, Bruno: 8 = 32/40

Ally Brooke and her partner, Sasha Farber dancing the Samba to “Wannabe,” by the Spice Girls.

Judges Comments: Carrie Ann: “That was amazing, the way you are dancing is incredible. You danced so perfectly in-synch that it was flawless.” Len: “There was plenty of recognizable Samba, great technique, it was a fantastic dance.” Joey: “I was waiting for a Samba roll. Amazing job.” Bruno: “I want more of that, it was a proper technically eight Samba.”

Lauren Alaina and her partner, Gleb Savchenko dancing the Quick-Step to “Can’t Hurry Love,” by The Supremes.

There were one of or two little moments that were not good, but I liked it.” Joey: “It was a tough dance, there were few foot things, but overall the energy was great.” Bruno: “You really captured the feel of a timeless Quick-Step. It was a difficult routine, there were a couple of times when you were off.” Carrie Ann: “I thought it was fantastic and don’t know what you are all talking about, I loved it.”

Judges Scores: Carrie Ann: 9, Len: 9, Joey: 8, Bruno: 8 = 34/40

Kel Mitchell and his partner, Witney Carson dancing the Paso Doble to “Free Your Mind,” by En Vogue.

Judges Comments: Joey: “Amazing job, overall great.” Bruno: “It was the power of the performance. Be careful not to close in the lines because of the power. I am overwhelmed by the power of the performance.” Carrie Ann: “Your arms were small and you have to dance big, not little – use that space.” Len: “Too many gimmicks and not enough Paso Doble in my world.”

James Van Der Beek and his partner, Emma Slater dancing Jazz to “Bye, Bye, Bye,” by the Backstreet Boys.

Judges Comments: Len: “That was too much of a boy band, would have been better to have more together dancing.” Joey: “If I could give a hundred I would. It is all about the attitude, it was really great, hands down awesome.” Bruno: “There could have been a little more together, attention to your partner.” Carrie Ann: “You have this amazing ability to give three hundred percent. Just be a little careful of your elbows.”

Judges Scores: Carrie Ann: 9, Len: 8, Joey: 10, Bruno: 9 – 36/40

Judges Comments: Joey: “I was watching your feet the whole time and it was awesome.” Bruno: “I am purring like a kitten, that was pure pleasure. You brought a lot of passion and elegance, you were killing it, the lines were great. Old school Hollywood.” Carrie Ann: “You have to bring A-game every time if you want to win, thank you for doing that.” Len: “It was sharp, good frame, good posture – a little loose on occasion, but well done.”

Judges Scores: Carrie Ann: 10, Len: 9, Joey: 10, Bruno: 10 = 39/40

Sean Spicer and partner, Lindsay Arnold dancing a Fox Trot to “Story Of My Life,” by One Direction.

Judges Comments: Bruno: “No surprises there, you were solid and consistent. Your technique always goes in one direction, reverse. You presented it well, but a little clumpy.” Carrie Ann: “Unfortunately you lost your step a little bit in the middle, I love you for coming out here – you are doing the best you can.” Len: “It flowed, then it splattered, then there were a couple of drips, then it flowed again.” Joey: “You always give it 110%, its more about the feeling and the journey.”
