Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) is headed back to town. In Soap Opera Digest’s “Dishing with Digest” podcast, Dattilo confirmed that he’d be popping up again in May. He also mentioned a family member with health issues would be part of this storyline, so that certainly lines up with Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) crisis.
Lucas will be joined by Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) as these worried parents come together to support their son. Will’s battling a brain tumor right now, so he should appreciate having his mom and dad around. He needs all the support he can get as he faces this medical drama.
DOOL fans know Will recently had a seizure, so his troubles are obviously getting worse. Days of Our Lives spoilers say there’ll be other frightening incidents, so Sami and Lucas will undoubtedly grow fearful. They just got Will back from the “dead” not too long ago! Lucas and Sami will hate the thought of losing their beloved boy all over again.
Fortunately, Days spoilers state that Will’s going to be just fine. Since Sami and Lucas’ stints will be brief, they should feel confident of that by the time they leave, too. They would probably stick around longer if they thought Will was knocking on death’s door.
There should be some change in Will’s condition sooner or later. Perhaps there’ll be a miraculous cure that surfaces with a little help from another character. Then again, maybe Will’s just going to have a risky surgery. That would leave everyone worried about Will keeping all his mental abilities intact.
Whatever the case, Will’s going to make a full recovery at some point. Knowing that leaves us free to enjoy Lucas’ return along with Sami’s. It’ll definitely be nice to see some familiar faces. Since they’ll be in Salem around the time of Caroline Brady’s (Peggy McCay) upcoming funeral, Lucas and Sami should attend that as well.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Caroline will pass away, so her loved ones will gather for her memorial service. Of course, McCay passed away in real life last year, so the show wanted to do something special to celebrate her life and accomplishments. The onscreen funeral seems to be happening in June, so stay tuned for some tearful moments and sweet memories.
