Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that one NBC soap star faced some painful injuries over the weekend. DOOL fans know Bryan Dattilo as Lucas Horton, who’ll be returning to Salem next week. While we wait on Dattilo’s onscreen comeback, we should talk about his recent mishap. It turns out Dattilo’s day of fun got a little more extreme than he anticipated!
On Twitter, Dattilo posted a pic of some rough-looking bruises and scrapes. It seems a baseball game was the reason for them. “Sliding head first into home hurts. Scoring feels good. #weekendwarrior,” Dattilo said in his tweet. It’s nice that Dattilo contributed to what was hopefully a victory, but it’s a bummer he had to hurt himself to pull it off!
Days of Our Lives viewers were quick to weigh in and offer supportive comments. “Ouch” was obviously the most common reply. Others urged Dattilo to take care of himself and stay safe. We all want Dattilo ready to head back on set if other return opportunities emerge down the road.
As for Lucas’ latest stint, he’ll head home with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) to say goodbye. Will Horton (Chandler Massey) noted that he’d rather have his parents come back for a wedding than a funeral. Unfortunately, Lucas and Sami will fear it’s going to be both.
It turns out they’ll be right – just not in the way they’re expecting. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Will’s life will be saved after Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) hands over the diary. A cure will be found in the nick of time, but a funeral will indeed be attended. That’s because Caroline Brady (Peggy McCay) will pass away while Sami and Lucas are in town.
Days spoilers state that Lucas and Sami will find more trouble to get into as well. They’ve got some fun scenes coming up in the midst of the sad ones, so that’s great news for DOOL fans. Are you looking forward to seeing Sami and Lucas again? We’ll give you updates as other Days details emerge.
