Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a big return may be in the works. DOOL fans have definitely been buzzing about some behind-the-scenes shakeups lately. We’ve been hearing about some major departures, so that’s always a bit of a bummer. On the bright side, exits usually free up money and airtime for comebacks as well.
That brings us to some good news from Christopher Sean’s (Paul Narita) Instagram story. Sean posted a short video of himself strolling through the Days of Our Lives studio. He joked around by pretending it was just an average day before revealing his familiar location. As he stood in front of the famous hourglass, Sean said he was “just hanging out” and “doing the usual.”
Of course, Paul fans immediately flipped out on social media. The show tries to be careful about how much they spill, so they probably gave Sean the green light to post this. There’s a good chance they were hoping to lift Days viewers’ spirits. People tend to get upset when there’s too much departure chatter. Sean’s return is the kind of thing that would get everyone excited.
However, it’s important to mention what Sean added at the end of his Instagram story. He put up a caption that said, “I just stopped by to say hello. Nobody was home. Until next time Salem.” Obviously, Sean is joking around again since the cast and crew were undoubtedly there. What isn’t clear is if Sean actually filmed or if he only wanted to see his old pals.
The “until next time Salem” certainly offers some hope. Due to the NBC soap’s advance taping schedule, it would be close to six months before Paul appeared on screen. That’s a long time to wait, but it would be worth it. Paul is the character with the biggest heart and the brightest smile, so Days watchers would love to see him in town again. Maybe he could even be walking by then thanks to his current physical therapy.
Regardless, it’s nice to know Sean went home for a while! Days of Our Lives spoilers say some great storylines are brewing, so let’s hope Paul pops up in one of them eventually.
