Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will be forced to face his ex-fiancée again. DOOL viewers know Eli was stunned when he ran into Lani Price (Sal Stowers) at a convent in Italy. However, he was able to walk away from that encounter and perhaps thought he’d never see Lani again.
Of course, Lani has now decided to reclaim her life and take down Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). That means Eli will have to face Lani once more – and this time there’ll be no escaping his lingering feelings. Although Eli resents Lani for dumping him at the altar and breaking his heart, part of him still loves her. He was ready to spend the rest of his life with Lani, but Gabi’s blackmail plot forced a change of plans.
Eli has no idea that he’s dating the woman responsible for his misery! He doesn’t realize Gabi threatened to blow up Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) heart if Lani didn’t follow orders. Gabi could still follow through on that, which is why Lani will have to be careful once she returns to Salem during the week of December 30-January 3.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani will indeed proceed with caution, but she’ll hope she can find a way to get Eli back. As for Eli, he won’t handle Lani’s presence very well. Eli could cope as long as Lani wasn’t hanging around reminding him of what he lost. Out of sight, out of mind – well, at least for the most part.
Once Lani’s in his orbit again, Eli will struggle with his emotions. There’ll be familiar rage and pain within him, but he’ll be overwhelmed that lingering love we mentioned, too. It’ll be a lot for Eli to handle, so he’ll make a bold move in hopes of shoving all this down.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eli will pop the question! He’ll get down on one knee and ask Gabi to marry him, so that’ll definitely raise the stakes. Gabi should be more determined than ever to keep her secret under wraps. She certainly won’t want Lani to win and she won’t want to lose this life she’s built with Eli either.
