Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) return to Salem will disrupt many lives. In particular, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will be dismayed to hear that Xander is alive and kicking, since he is the one who shot and nearly killed her at her wedding to John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) won’t be happy to see Xander back, either, especially since Xander’s #1 goal seems to be making Victor’s life miserable.
But this time around, no one will be more horrified to see Xander back in action than Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Xander is the one who kept Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) hostage and separated from Eric for months in Nashville.
Xander was blackmailing Nicole by threatening to make public a recording of her confessing to killing Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry).
Eric, like everyone else, thought that Xander perished in the DiMera warehouse fire that also (allegedly) took Nicole’s life. Eric will be shocked to find out that Xander survived, and Eric’s initial reaction will be pure rage. To think that Nicole died in the warehouse, but Xander somehow survived will make Eric’s blood boil.
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Eric will go nuts when he sees Xander, and he’ll attack with all of his might. Look for an intense fight between Eric and Xander as Eric absolutely lets Xander have it.
Of course, from Xander’s perspective, the whole scene will probably be amusing. Xander’s got a sick sense of humor, and he likely knows the truth about Nicole…that she actually survived the warehouse explosion.
In fact, Xander may well be the person who saved Nicole from the warehouse in the moments before the explosion, and he may also be the one who planted Nicole’s pendant in the rubble for the firefighters to find.
Knowing Xander, he’ll absolutely love it that Eric is devastated and lashing out. He can’t stand Eric and wants Nicole all to himself.
He also probably wants to keep everyone believing that Nicole is dead, so he’ll be glad to see Eric devastated over her death rather than putting two and two together and figuring out that if Xander survived the blast, then Nicole might have survived.
