Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, July 5, tease that Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will grow closer. They got caught up in “Nicole Walker’s” (Arianne Zucker) mess with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), so they’ll remain stuck in the DiMera tunnels for a while. Ted’s been the more optimistic one so far, but he’ll hopefully continue to rub off on Debbie-Downer Kate.
DOOL fans can expect sparks to fly for Kate and Ted on Friday. They were romantically involved once upon a time, so it’ll be easy for that passion to reignite. Ted will find a reason to take his shirt off and encourage Kate to take her clothes off, too. It won’t be long until they’re making out, so things may escalate from there.
Meanwhile, “Nicole” aka Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will manage to push Gabi Hernandez’s (Camila Banus) buttons. Days of Our Lives spoilers say “Nicole” and Gabi will bicker again, which isn’t the best idea since Kristen raises suspicions every time she acts out. Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) also happens to be falling for Gabi, so it’ll be one more way to irritate him.
Across town, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will shake off her sadness and focus on getting answers. She was crushed by Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) hookup with Carrie Brady (Christie Clark), but he’s single and can do what he wants. In Friday’s episode, Hope will turn her attention back to the mystery of Sarah Brady’s (Linsey Godfrey) new necklace.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will find himself on the hot seat. Hope will grill Xander about where he got this very distinctive and expensive piece of jewelry. She’ll mention that it looks just like the necklace Ted offered her. Xander may try to deny it, but Hope will keep pushing. If Xander eventually admits the necklace came from Ted, he might claim the transaction was on the up and up.
To be fair, it sort of was! Ted gladly handed over that necklace in exchange for his life and the hope that his super-snooper love interest might figure this out. It sounds like Hope will be well on her way despite Xander’s attempts to dodge her questions.
Finally, Days spoilers say Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) will be perplexed. They’ll try to fit some of these puzzle pieces together regarding Kate’s sudden trip and Xander’s suspicious behavior. Once Brady gets updates on Kate’s weird text to Rex, he’ll become even more convinced Xander’s up to no good.
