Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, May 31, tease that Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will face an unpleasant task. She’ll have to break the news to Will Horton (Chandler Massey) that death is drawing near. Dr. Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) have worked hard to treat Will’s brain tumor, but traditional methods aren’t working and they’re at a loss for how to move forward.
Unfortunately, Will’s latest tests will likely show substantial growth. Kayla will admit there’s nothing else they can do without Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) formula and even then, that’s not a guarantee of survival. Will used a serum that was highly experimental and came with great risks, so now he’s paying the price.
Nevertheless, Kayla will be sorry that Will’s demise is imminent. He’ll definitely have to lean on Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) as he copes with this grim outlook. Over with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), he’ll manage to remember something from his past.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say this memory won’t be very significant, but it’ll be enough to give Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) hope. She’ll be more convinced than ever than Jack’s memories are buried just under the surface. Every time Jack receives a blow to the head, a little something comes back.
DOOL fans can expect a new plan to form. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Jennifer will come up with a solution that could bring all of Jack’s memories back, but he’ll have some reservations about it. Whether Jenn tells Jack her plan now or later, this storyline is certainly going to heat things up this summer.
In the meantime, Days spoilers say Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will fill Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) in on a shocking encounter. She’ll insist she could’ve sworn she saw Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) hotel room. Since Maggie’s been hitting the bottle again, Brady will agree that Maggie was just drunk and imagining Kristen in front of her. This shouldn’t raise any red flags…yet.
Of course, that could change if new clues point Brady in the right direction. Kristen will keep her plot going strong for now, but there are bound to be some snags along the way.
