Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will be thrilled after Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) heart transplant. Of course, that heart will come from Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), so Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) will be left to mourn. Part of her will be glad Stefan’s death made a difference, but another part of her will resent Eli and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) for being so happy while she’s stuck in grief.
Gabi blames Lani for shooting Stefan and leaving him with no neurological activity, so she won’t appreciate all the “Elani” bliss. Days spoilers say Gabi will listen in as the couple makes wedding plans. She’ll fume over Eli and Lani getting their happily ever after – the same one she was supposed to have with her beloved Stefan.
DOOL fans know Gabi’s never been shy about voicing her disapproval, so she’ll undoubtedly rip into Lani and Eli. Gabi’s much to heartbroken to hold anything back right now.
Will Lani Price And Eli Grant’s Wedding Happen Before Time Jump?
She’ll be even more distraught after Stefan’s true demise, so Eli and Lani should face her fierce wrath. The heated encounter should leave Lani shaken up and make her consider calling the whole thing off.
However, Eli will likely insist Gabi’s just mourning her loss. He’ll feel like Gabi will come around after she processes everything. Regardless, Eli won’t think Gabi should stand in the way of their beautiful ceremony. Since the “Elani” nuptials can be seen in the fall promo, it looks like Eli will persuade Lani to move forward with the celebration.
It’s possible that’ll be a fantasy, but it’s doubtful since the event looks like it will be gorgeous and extravagant. It certainly looks like the real deal. Besides, it’ll make for a bigger shocker if Lani and Eli are married before the time jump.
Lani Price’s Mistake Will Come Back To Haunt Her In A Big Way
Days of Our Lives buzz suggests Eli and Gabi will be together after the show leaps ahead a year. They’ll hopefully reveal how “Elani” fell apart through fake flashbacks and confessions.
Naturally, Gabi’s revenge should be a big part of all this. It’s easy to imagine Gabi watching Lani and Eli’s wedding in a rage. She might stand in the distance and secretly vow to make Lani feel the same pain she’s feeling. If Gabi can’t have her husband, she won’t want Lani to have hers either!
