Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Hope Hernandez (Kristian Alfonso) will soon be green with jealousy. She refused to help Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) raise Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Hartley) baby boy, David, and Rafe wasn’t happy about that. He promptly moved out of their home with the baby and has been taking care of him on his own ever since.
But taking care of an infant is an involved process, and Rafe has needed help. Lani Price (Sal Stowers) has stepped up to help, as she’s completely enchanted by baby David, who reminds her of the child she lost last year. She’ll be more than happy to help Rafe with David going forward, and she’ll end up spending a lot of time at the Hernandez house.
But it seems that this will cause some friction between Hope and Rafe, and between Hope and Lani. According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Hope will be distraught when she discovers that Lani spent the night at Rafe’s house. Of course, the whole situation will be innocent; Lani will have spent the night taking care of David.
But Hope won’t be amused. She’ll be feeling territorial over Rafe and according to DOOL spoilers, it will make matters worse that Lani is wearing one of Rafe’s shirts when Hope discovers her at Rafe’s house one morning. Hope will momentarily wonder what’s going on between Rafe and Lani, and her mind will jump to the wrong conclusion prematurely.
OF course, Hope may be projecting a bit. After all, it’s not Rafe who has been kissing someone outside of the marriage recently…it’s Hope who’s been doing that with Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini). At any rate, Hope will have to deal with her feelings of jealousy toward Lani and (hopefully) realize that Lani is just fulfilling a role with baby David that Hope refused to fill herself.
It looks like it may be a while before we ever see Rafe and Hope get back together. It looks like Rafe is in it for the long haul with baby David, and Lani seems more than happy to help raise the little boy. Plus, it doesn’t look like Hope will ever decide that she wats to step back into the marriage as long as the baby is around. What a mess.
