Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers has some exciting news to pass on about Jen Lilley, who portrayed Theresa Donovan on the NBC soap. Jen will be starring in a new TV movie on The Hallmark Channel later this month.
The movie is called Winter Love Story, and Jen will portray the female lead named Cassie Winslett. Cassie is an author who has just written her first novel. When the novel isn’t selling, she gets paired on a book tour with a best-selling author named Elliot Somersby. It’s her publisher’s hope that the pairing will boost Cassie’s book sales and her confidence. But soon, a romance starts to blossom between the two.
Jen’s in good company in Winter Love Story. She appears opposite Kevin McGarry in the lead role of Elliot Somersby. Kevin has appeared in several TV series, including Heartland, Open Heart, and Murdoch Mysteries. He has also appeared in several TV movies and in Saw 3D: The Final Chapter.
Also appearing in Winter Love Story is Mary-Margaret Humes, who viewers may remember from Dawson’s Creek and numerous other TV series and movies, including Matlock and Eerie, Indiana.
It certainly sounds like the movie will be an enjoyable love story, with plenty of romance. Fans of Jen’s should be sure to tune in. Winter Love Story is set to air on The Hallmark Channel on Saturday, January 19. Do you expect to see Theresa Donovan back on Days of Our Lives?
