Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Hope Hernandez (Kristian Alfonso) will keep drifting further and further away from her hubby. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) only has himself to blame. He hooked up with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) mere hours into his brief breakup with Hope. After they got back together the next day, Rafe kept that dirty little secret to himself.
Hope eventually found a way to forgive Rafe, but that pain was always lingering just under the surface. That’s why it was such a devastating blow when Rafe announced his recent plans. After Sami called, Rafe just had to go running off to help with her son. Never mind that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) just moved to Italy and could easily pitch in with Johnny just like Allie!
It’s no wonder Hope is upset and looking elsewhere for support. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) will continue to be there for Hope. He’s been useful during Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) crisis so far. Once Ciara’s safe and sound, Hope should express her gratitude to Ted. Rafe’s been busy worrying about his Sami’s kids, so Ted’s the one who Hope’s come to rely on.
Days spoilers say Ted and Hope will share a kiss on this week’s new DOOL episodes, February 11-15. Rafe will also make a DOOL comeback, but he’ll end up focusing on yet another ex as soon as he hits town. After Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) uncovers too much info, Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) will drug her and leave her for dead.
Rafe will save Kate’s life, so that could spark a reconnection. Since Days is building to something between Hope and Ted, will they go with them as a real couple? Where would that leave Rafe? Could he drift back in Kate’s direction? Kate and Rafe were kind of an odd pairing, but Days of Our Lives might let them reunite for a while anyway. They might as well until they can figure something else out.
Whatever the case, Hope and Rafe’s marriage may be on the verge of destruction. New loves and old flames could drive them apart, which would probably be a good thing at this point. Hope and Rafe are getting a bit stale, so they at least need a break. It’s wise to mix it up and keep things interesting in the soap romance department!
