Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will get some more scary news. As DOOL viewers know, she and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) recently faced a terrifying situation when they went in for their unborn baby’s first ultrasound. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), who performed the ultrasound, had trouble finding the baby’s heartbeat, and that led to a big moment of heartache and panic for Kristen and Brady. Finally, Kayla found the heartbeat and all was well.
Of course, this baby is supremely important to Kristen. Given her age, it’s really her last opportunity to have a child of her own, plus it’s a child with Brady, which is meaningful to her. She’s been obsessed with Brady for years, and to have a child with him is a dream come true for her. Plus, the baby is a way to draw Brady close and keep him close to her. She really needs the baby to survive in order to have the chance at a future with Brady.
But it seems that there will soon be another pregnancy scare in Kristen’s near future. According to DOOL spoilers, something else will happen with the pregnancy that will worry both Kristen and Brady about their baby’s health. Perhaps Kristen will experience some more cramping or abdominal pain, but at any rate, it will be pretty terrifying for the pair. Given that the pregnancy is high-risk, Kristen could have these kinds of scares throughout her pregnancy, which will make it a long 9 months for her and Brady.
Of course, we should point out that viewers won’t be with Kristen and Brady for most of the remainder of her pregnancy and all the drama that unfolds, since the DOOL time jump will be happening on Friday, November 8th. By the time that the drama picks back up on Monday, November 11th, a full year will have passed, which means that viewers will find out what happened with Kristen and Brady’s baby and her high-risk pregnancy.
So, will the baby survive? DOOL has been pretty circumspect with details about what happens from Monday, November 11th and on, and so far there’s no word on whether any babies have been cast to portray Kristen and Brady’s child. But given the fact that Kristen’s got a high-risk pregnancy going, there’s probably a good chance that the baby won’t survive. On the other hand, if the baby does survive, then it will probably serve to bring Kristen and Brady together as a couple.
So, DOOL fans will need to be watching during the week of November 11th, to see whether (a) Kristen and Brady are together, and (b) their baby survived the high-risk pregnancy.
