Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will battle some concerns. Things have been going well in his relationship with Lani Price (Sal Stowers) lately. They’re falling harder for each other every day, so they’ve clearly come along way since their horrible loss. Lani and Eli’s baby boy didn’t survive, but they’ll always love little David and wish they could’ve watched him grow up.
Now Days is about to explore a new chapter for Lani and Eli. Their latest DOOL storyline suggests that maybe Lani hasn’t truly worked through her grief. On April 5, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani will bond with someone else’s baby. It turns out this kid will be named David, too. That’ll only make Lani more drawn to him, but Eli won’t think her instant attachment to this baby is healthy.
Lani may meet this baby through something that happens on the job. It’s possible David’s mom will be arrested or will at least be unable to take care of him. Will Lani volunteer for Mommy duty? This might even be a baby that’s been abandoned somewhere. There are several interesting possibilities when it comes to setting up Lani and David’s meeting.
Even if it’s something simpler like running into a mom in the square and asking her baby’s name, Lani will be over the moon for David. If David’s mother remains in the picture, Lani may befriend her and offer to babysit anytime. Whatever the case, it’s clear that Lani won’t have a normal reaction to this child. Eli’s a smart guy, so he wouldn’t be concerned if Lani simply said hello to David and moved on.
Lani will quickly develop an obsession, so Eli will wonder how he should tackle the problem. It’s a delicate issue since they lost their newborn son, but Eli won’t be able to keep quiet forever. Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that this could cause issues in their romance. Eli’s criticism will probably leave Lani hurt and angry, so this could be a pretty big hiccup for “ELani.”
