Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that things are about to heat up between Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus). As DOOL viewers know, Gabi has a devious plot in store for Lani and it all stems from Lani’s fatal shooting of Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). The shooting was, of course, accidental and Lani feels terrible about the whole thing, but Gabi is hell-bent on exacting her revenge. She doesn’t want to see Lani and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) have their happily ever after, so she’s determined to ruin their wedding.
Gabi has cooked up a plan to get Lani to dump Eli at the altar, and so far it seems to be working. She’s told Lani that if she doesn’t dump Eli at the altar, then she’ll see to it that Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) dies. As DOOL viewers know, Gabi is in full control of the pacemaker that is regulating Julie’s heart, and with one push of a button, Gabi can blow Julie’s heart to kingdom come.
This all has Lani in a real bind, as she knows that Gabi is absolutely serious. Gabi can’t stand Julie anyway, plus Gabi’s in a very bad place right now. She’s overcome with grief and her dark side has taken over. At any rate, it’s looking like Lani is going to try her hardest to get out of having to break Eli’s hart. Lani will try to outmaneuver Gabi somehow, but it appears that her efforts to break free of Gabi’s control will fail.
Days of Our Lives spoilers clearly point to Lani dumping Eli at the altar and saving Julie’s life. It will surely be a big scene, with nobody understanding exactly what drove Lani to make such an uncharacteristic move. Eli will be stunned by the whole thing, and it’s pretty clear that he won’t have seen any of this coming. We’ll see how Lani explains herself and her decision to halt the wedding, but it should leave Eli totally blindsided.
Well, it seems that Lani is going to be really upset with Lani after all is said and done, which is perfectly understandable. And according to Days of Our Lives spoilers, there will be some major fireworks after the fact. In fact, Lani will finally decide that she’s had enough and will physically attack Gabi! And it won’t be just a slap across the face…DOOL spoilers are clear that Lani will outright punch Gabi. It should be quite a scene as Lani just can’t take it anymore and lashes out.
One wonders what will happen from here. At some point, Eli will have to learn what really happened and why Lani actually dumped him at the altar. But when will this occur? We have to remember that the big Days of Our Lives time jump is happening on Friday, November 8th – a date that is rapidly approaching. According to DOOL spoilers, Lani will punch Gabi just two episodes prior to the time jump, so who knows when Eli will find out what Gabi has put Lani through.
It could conceivably be a very long time before Eli learns the truth, and there’s a good chance that the reveal will be handled in a flashback after the time jump has occurred. It will be interesting to see how DOOL handles the issue, but one thing’s for sure – there will be some major fireworks between Lani and Gabi before the whole thing gets resolved.
