Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, January 28, tease that Eve Donovan’s (Kassie DePaiva) plan will hit a huge snag. Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) just showed up in Eve’s hotel room and suggested they had some unfinished business to discuss. Eve will undoubtedly try to get rid of him, but Xander will have other ideas. He’ll take Dr. Rolf’s (William Utay) diary, so Eve will lose her upper hand.
Xander will keep this diary, which contains the formula that could help Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) get his memory back. Eve doesn’t want Jack or Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) getting their hands on that, so she’ll be at Xander’s mercy. He’ll most likely put Dr. Rolf’s diary somewhere for safekeeping and make some new demands.
Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will set the record straight. Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) feels like he’s cracked the case of who Sarah slept with, but he’s jumped to the wrong conclusion. He’ll accuse Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) of sleeping with Sarah, but she’ll admit Xander was her hookup partner.
Rex will apologize for thinking the worst of his brother, but he’s not too far off base. Eric and Sarah almost crossed that line, so it’s not like they’re completely innocent here. Despite Sarah’s betrayal, Eric is definitely wrestling with feelings for her.
Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will sense that Eric’s having a hard time, so she’ll encourage him to open up. It won’t take her long to realize Eric’s falling for Sarah. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Marlena will do her best to guide Eric, but his heart will have to do most of the work. Since Sarah’s about to take Rex back, that’ll certainly complicate Eric’s love life in the coming weeks.
Days spoilers say Marlena will also catch up with Will Horton (Chandler Massey). She’ll have some great news to pass along, so this may involve John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) mission to find Leo Starke’s (Greg Rikaart) mom. Diana Cooper (Judith Chapman) will arrive in Salem on Tuesday, so DOOL fans should expect plenty of drama.
For now, Marlena will give Will a pep talk and offer some hope. She’ll trust that things will work out for Will and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) sooner or later, so Will will try to trust that as well. We’ll give you updates as other Days details emerge.
