Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers has some sad news to pass on about an ex-DOOL star. Peter Reckell, who portrayed Bo Brady on the NBC soap, has experienced a deep and personal heartbreaking loss. He has announced to his fans on Twitter that his mother has passed away.
Peter tweeted the following message: “My mother was a powerful, compassionate, creative, giving person who will be missed by the many people she touched in her life. Thanks for all the loving thoughts. My family has pulled together to help each other and my father in this difficult time.”
Peter’s followers have been steadily responding to his sad tweet with their condolences and sweet words. One fan summed it up nicely when she said: “I’m so sorry for your loss. Those qualities that you have beautifully expressed about your mother shine brightly through you! May your mother rest in peace, and may she always guide your way in life! Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family.”
Peter’s wife, Kelly Moneymaker, also tweeted about the family’s loss. She tweeted: “My beautiful, kind, compassionate, intelligent, funny, energetic hard-working resilient mother-in-law has transitioned. Peter is with his entire family, so please be patient while he processes this massive loss. She was a very special human being and deeply loved.”
There’s no word on what took his mother’s life, but we do know that Peter was the second-oldest of six children, so he will have considerable resources to draw upon during this difficult time. His tweet indicated that the family was pulling together, which should bring them all comfort.
