Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will soon get himself in another bind with Hope Hernandez (Kristian Alfonso). Rafe seems to be an attentive husband to Hope, but when Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney) needs his help, he tends to abandon Hope to help Sami. And that’s exactly what’s going to happen…again.
According to Days spoilers, Rafe will hear from Sami, who is currently in Italy with EJ DiMera (James Scott). Sami will have some sort of emergency, and she’ll request Rafe’s presence and assistance. That will put Rafe in a difficult position. He’ll want to help his ex out, but he’ll also know that if he does, he’ll be in the doghouse with Hope.
Hope has never really trusted Sami or her motives when it comes to Rafe. It’s bad enough that Rafe slept with Sami almost immediately after breaking up with Hope last year, but it seems that Rafe is always going out on a limb for Sami at the expense of his relationship with Hope.
Hope sort of feels #2 in the pecking order, and so she’s not going to want Rafe to just run off to Italy to help Sami when he’s needed at home. But it looks like Rafe is going to make the trek to see Sami anyway. Perhaps Rafe figures that he needs a break from Hope right now.
Rafe’s still on edge about Hope’s actions with respect to Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini). Hope threw proper policework out the window and used Ted to try to nab Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), then berated Rafe when he wanted to rough up Stefan DiMera (Tyler Christopher) for kidnapping his sister Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus).
So perhaps Rafe will feel like he just needs to get away from Hope for a while. But according to Days spoilers, his absence may have a very negative effect on his marriage to Hope. It looks like Hope may need some companionship and some help of her own while Rafe is off with Sami, and guess who she’ll turn to? Ted.
Look for Hope and Ted to spend some time together while Rafe is out of town. Right now, Hope certainly doesn’t have any feelings for Ted, nor does she even like him that much, but the more time they spend together, the closer they’ll probably become. Rafe just might come home to find Hope and Ted together, which won’t be a good scene.
