Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that some terrible news will hit Salem. The week of June 17-21 will change many lives forever. That’s because someone near and dear to plenty of Salemites will suddenly pass away. Of course, we’re talking about Caroline Brady (Peggy McCay).
After the news of McCay’s death broke, Days of Our Lives quickly got to work creating a tribute to her. They wanted to honor both the character and the actress, so they found some interesting ways to do it. DOOL fans will get the usual memorial service and emotional moments, but there’ll be some story shockers thrown in as well.
However, Salem has to get updates on Caroline’s passing before anything else happens. Watching word spread and seeing the reactions should be heartbreaking. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that the Brady family will obviously be hit the hardest. Caroline has been a source of comfort and guidance for many of them over the years.
Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) is the go-to guy for info on family members who have left town. He always seems to get the call, so it’s usually up to him to pass difficult news along. This time will be no different as he hears about Caroline’s demise.
Days spoilers say it’ll be difficult for Roman to share this, but it has to be done. There’ll be lots of mourning and planning to do. It looks like Roman will start by delivering the crushing blow to Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans). She’ll be devastated to learn that Caroline is gone, but she’ll try to cling to the good times.
Roman may find other friends and family members to tell, but Kayla will help him out. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kayla will pay Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) a visit and fill him in. He’ll spend some time reflecting on the past as he wraps his head around the loss.
Kayla will try to lighten things up later. The Bradys and others who were close to Caroline will raise a glass to celebrate her life. Kayla will lead a toast and perhaps guide the others toward sharing memories. It’ll be a bittersweet time for both Days fans and the characters who loved Caroline dearly.
