Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, January 17, tease that Stefan DiMera’s (Tyler Christopher) news will infuriate his brother. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will find out that Stefan was cleared and intends to reclaim his spot as CEO. Of course, Stefan’s arrest caused a major scandal. There’s no guarantee the board will be OK with Stefan swooping back in, but he’ll feel confident.
Regardless, Stefan will put his foot down on Thursday’s new Days episode, January 17. He’ll insist that Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will under no circumstances regain control of her company. Stefan will dictate what happens to Gabi Chic and that’s that. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will immediately put up a fight. She’ll lash out at Stefan and do her best to get what she wants.
However, Stefan won’t be interested in negotiating or even listening to Gabi. He’s still bitter about her paternity scam, so he’ll enjoy making Gabi suffer. Over with Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), they’ll discover something baffling. Days of Our Lives spoilers say there’ll be a shocking twist in the case of Dr. Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) attempted murder.
Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) was just arrested, but he’ll walk out of the police station soon enough. That’s because the incriminating footage will mysteriously vanish. DOOL spoilers state that Xander will be as smug as ever. He’ll do some gloating after Eli and Lani admit they have to let him go. There’ll be nothing linking Xander to the shooting, so he’ll get off scot-free.
Meanwhile, Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) will once again come between Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Hope Hernandez (Kristian Alfonso). Days fans will see plenty of bickering, so this can’t be good for their marriage. “Rope’s” relationship hasn’t been quite the same since Rafe hooked up with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Rafe and Hope managed to get back on track, but things are still a little off.
Hope’s obsession with Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) takedown has been a huge part of the problem. Ted’s inclusion in all that isn’t helping. A phone call will add to the drama when Sami gets in touch with Rafe in Thursday’s episode. She’ll summon him for a favor, so Rafe had better brace for backlash.
Elsewhere, Sheila Watkins (Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins) will get on Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) bad side again. Her screwup will come at a steep price for Abe, so he’s sure to hit the roof.
