Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, January 31, tease that Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will bump into Leo Starke’s (Greg Rikaart) mom. It’s clear that Diana Cooper (Judith Chapman) has some serious issues with Leo, so Marlena will hope to use those to Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) advantage. She’s determined to get Will his long-awaited second chance with Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith).
While Marlena has a little chat with Diana, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will grill Hope Hernandez (Kristian Alfonso) about Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini). DOOL fans know Hope and Ted recently had dinner together. They’re growing closer, so Eli will wonder exactly what’s going on between them. He’ll want to keep an eye on the situation for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) until he gets back from Italy.
Eli has seen firsthand what secrets can do to relationships, so he may warn Hope about hiding things from her husband. Rafe has certainly made his fair of mistakes, but Eli won’t want Hope throwing away their marriage over someone as smarmy as Ted. He’ll just want to look out for Hope and Rafe as best as he can.
Of course, Hope will assure Eli there’s nothing to worry about. She may end up telling him to butt out, too! This is really none of Eli’s business, but that won’t stop him from meddling. Fortunately, Eli will also take time to focus on his own romance. Days spoilers say he’ll pull off a romantic surprise for Lani Price (Sal Stowers), so they’ll enjoy some close moments in Thursday’s episode.
Meanwhile, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will feel like he’s losing it again. He’s not doing well at all without Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) to keep him on track. Ben can handle the rest of the world hating him, but he desperately needs Ciara’s support. Days of Our Lives spoilers say he’ll continue to go off the rails without it.
Ben grabbed Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) during their recent confrontation and gave her an evil glare. He told Claire he wasn’t going to hurt her, but he could easily drift back toward the dark side if something doesn’t change. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Ben will reach out to Ciara again on Thursday. When he can’t get in touch, Ben will decide he has to get the cops involved.
