Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, July 16, tease that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will contemplate a big change. He has been moping around Salem for months now, distraught because of Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) behavior and over Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) union with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder). It seems that Eric will think about leaving Salem for good, but will he really try to flee his problems?
Meanwhile, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will lash out at Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). He’ll be peeved because Kristen was willing to throw him under the bus and let him get arrested for the kidnapping of Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) and Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini). He vowed that if he went down, Kristen would go down, too, and it looks like he means it.
According to DOOL spoilers, Xander will get his revenge in an interesting way. He’ll take her “Nicole” mask, which will leave Kristen at least temporarily stuck in her hotel room. But given that Kristen always seems to land on her feet, she’ll likely back in action very soon.
Next, on the new episode of Days of Our Lives on Tuesday, July 16, Ted will continue lying to Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) about who trapped him in the secret room in the DiMera tunnels. As DOOL viewers know, he and Kate told Hope that it was Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) who orchestrated their kidnapping, and it looks like Hope will do her best to put all the pieces together. Since Hope’s an ex-cop, she won’t be able to help herself!
But she might have trouble getting Ted and Kate’s story to make sense. After all, what would be Stefan’s motive for holding both Kate and Ted together and depriving them of food and water? Hope will try to figure it out, and according to DOOL spoilers, Ted will end up lying to Hope again in order to make the story make sense, and this will throw Hope off track, at least for the time being.
While all of this is going on, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will be putting details together herself. As DOOL viewers know, she and Stefan figured out pretty quickly that Nicole had been acting very strangely when it came to the room where Ted and Kate were ultimately found. Since Stefan will be tied up at the police station, perhaps Gabi will take it upon herself to do a little investigating into “Nicole.”
This could produce an interesting situation, since Nicole is actually Kristen. Perhaps Gabi will do a little sleuthing for Stefan and gain some insight as to what “Nicole” is up to.
Finally, on Tuesday’s new episode of Days of Our Lives, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will hash things out with Eve Deveraux (Kassie DePaiva). We haven’t seen much interaction between these two exes lately, but it seems that the two will bump into each other and Brady will take it upon himself to give Eve a piece of his mind. He may get wind of what Eve did with respect to Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan), and he’ll probably be disgusted.
He may blast Eve for doing nothing to help Claire when he knew she was in a bad place and a danger to herself and others. Of course, Eve will probably deflect her responsibility as she typically does, and nothing that Brady says will cut too deep. Eve will just go on with her life as usual, in typical Eve fashion.
