Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, June 19, tease that Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will remain in a total panic. Will Horton (Chandler Massey) just went into cardiac arrest, so the situation is certainly dire. The good news is Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will come up with an antidote, which will be injected soon enough. The bad news is they’ll fear they’re too late.
Rex will give Will a dose of the new cure and try to get his heart beating again. He’ll hate the thought of being this close to saving Will only to fail. Rex won’t want to deliver any somber announcements, so he’ll do everything he can to make sure Will survives and has a chance to recover.
Meanwhile, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will worry this is the end of the road. They’ve already lost Will once, so losing him again would be truly tragic. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lucas and Sami will hold out hope for a miracle. They’ll trust that maybe this antidote will work after all and put a little more sand in Will’s hourglass.
As Will lingers between life and death, he’ll start moving toward the light. DOOL fans can expect a sweet reunion during Will’s near-death experience. He’ll see Caroline Brady, which will bring a stand-in for Peggy McCay along with audio clips of her comforting voice. Caroline will assure Will that he’s got a lot of life left to live, so she’ll send him home to his loved ones and fill their hearts with joy.
Elsewhere, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will deliver a crushing blow. He’ll get updates on Caroline’s passing, so he’ll tell Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and they’ll grieve together. Back with Will, Days spoilers say he’ll recall his interaction with Caroline and leave Sami as well as Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) in disbelief. They’ll think Will must’ve simply had a vivid dream about Caroline.
Of course, Marlena and Sami will shift their way of thinking once they hear Caroline is gone. Days of Our Lives spoilers say they’ll accept that Caroline visited Will. She brought him back to their family, so they’ll be forever grateful.
Sami and Lucas will also overhear a surprising conversation in Wednesday’s episode. They’ll listen in on Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) chat with Sarah, so you can bet Sami will butt in. This may involve “Nicole Walker” (Arianne Zucker) aka Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and her decision to turn against Eric.
