Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and promo preview for the week of January 7-11 tease that some startling encounters are on the way. For starters, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will run into Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
Since Jack can’t remember anything about his past, Kayla will give him an uncomfortable recap. She’ll fill him in on some darkness he didn’t expect, so Jack will have to wrap his head around it.
Of course, Kayla will reveal that Jack raped her many years ago. Jack is certainly a beloved character now, but it’s good that Days isn’t whitewashing Jack’s history. Kayla will have to live with that pain forever, so DOOL spoilers say Jack will be sorry for what he put her through.
Meanwhile, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will spot a hunk in town and immediately become infatuated. Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will catch his eye, so Leo will do his best to get to know him.
Over with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), she’ll rip into Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) for refusing to let the custody drama go. Chloe thinks Holly Jonas (Harlow and Scarlett Mallory) belongs with her, so she’ll push Eric to accept it.
Next, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will pull out all the stops to win Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) back. He’ll get some help from Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) as he works on a grand plan.
JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will also be asked to pitch in. Chad will hope that his family dinner surprise pays off. He’s got a lot riding on this, so Days spoilers say Chad will really put his heart into making it special.
JJ will also deal with some Haley Chen (Thia Megia) drama. She’s keeping some secrets, so JJ will want to know what they are. One of them involves a family connection in town. It seems Haley may be Melinda Trask’s (Lauren Kai Chen) daughter, which complicates her current situation.
Haley could be mixed up in something illegal, which is probably why she’s not keen on telling Kayla or JJ anything. Nevertheless, JJ will keep pushing and hope he can pry something out of Haley.
He’ll promise he just wants to help, so her faith in him may grow stronger. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) will also make a promise. She’ll tell herself that somehow Jack’s going to become her husband. Eve will be desperate to cut Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) deep and this is the way to do it.
