Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will try to make Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) holiday a little brighter. DOOL fans know Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton was recently diagnosed with a type of cancer called neuroblastoma. Mickey’s tumor has metastasized and can’t be removed, but there are other treatment options to explore.
Sarah suggested that a combination of chemo and radiation might help, but there are no guarantees for poor Mickey. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Sarah will put everything on hold to help their daughter. They’ll focus on getting Mickey the treatment she needs, but Xander will hate being on the outside of all this.
Nevertheless, Xander agreed to take a step back for Sarah and Mickey’s sake. He went along with Eric’s demand, and it seems he’ll continue to honor Eric’s wishes in the coming weeks. Even so, Xander won’t like to think about Sarah suffering – especially during the holidays. This is Mickey’s first Christmas and was supposed to be a joyous time.
Xander can’t fix this horrible situation, but he can at least show Sarah he cares. Days spoilers say Xander will prove his love with a special Christmas gift. He’ll warm Sarah’s broken heart during the week of December 23-27, so that’ll be a nice treat for “Xarah” fans. Sarah may put her worries aside briefly and just concentrate on enjoying this moment with Xander.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say a smile from Sarah will be more than worth it. Xander would do anything to make Sarah happy, even if it’s just for a few minutes. Things look bleak for Mickey right now, but maybe we’ll see some positive changes soon!
Of course, Sarah may face a different blow down the road. It seems likely Mickey is actually Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) baby, so there should be more devastation to cope with. It’ll hurt even worse if Xander was involved in the swap, but maybe there’s another explanation.
