General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that February sweeps will back Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) into a corner. He’s currently dealing with blindness as a major hurdle to his grand plan. However, Ryan’s sight will undoubtedly be restored soon enough. He’s got more work to do as Port Charles’ horrific serial killer.
Of course, Ryan really made a mess of things with his last murder attempt. He left Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) alive and that’ll be a crucial mistake. There’s a good chance Lulu will remain in a coma for a while. Even after she wakes up, Lulu could struggle to remember exactly what happened. She’s bound to face a memory flood eventually, so that could be Ryan’s downfall.
In the meantime, General Hospital spoilers say Ryan will be able to run amok. He may think he can avoid punishment if he just pins all of his crimes on someone else. Ryan would prefer not to give another culprit all the glory, but he’ll be getting desperate. He won’t want to land behind bars or locked up at Ferncliff again.
Plus, Ryan has Ava Jerome (Maura West) to consider. He’s been pushing her to run away together, so that tells you a lot about how infatuated he is. Ryan loves causing all this bloody chaos around town. Since he’s willing to walk away from it all to be with Ava, Ryan is clearly quite smitten. He’s trying to put his romance first. That could actually play a role in the person Ryan picks to frame.
Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) was upset when “Dr. Kevin Collins” dropped him as a therapy patient. He lashed out, but he’ll just end up turning to “Kevin” for advice again. It seems Franco will just disregard “Kevin’s” wishes and do what he wants. Ryan may realize this is a pest that needs to be dealt with.
Franco is also friends with Ava in a strange sort of way. They’ll probably have another chat about Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) death and bond in the process. During new GH episodes the week of February 4-8, General Hospital spoilers say jealousy will erupt for Ryan. It seems likely that Franco’s connection with Ava will be the problem. There won’t be anything romantic going on, but that won’t stop Ryan from exploding.
Ryan needs to get out of his jam and Franco just might be the answer. With Franco’s deadly background, Ryan may think it’s the perfect fit. Franco would be a believable suspect to most of Port Charles. Pinning the murders on him would get Ryan off the hook and keep Franco away from Ava. Ryan could kill two birds with one stone, so he may pounce on this opportunity.
General Hospital spoilers say Ryan will indeed point the finger at Franco somehow. He’ll do his best to bring suspicions in Franco’s direction.
