General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a fierce faceoff is on the way. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will finally return to Port Charles – and she’s going to have some harsh words for Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). Like Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and the rest of us, Anna should think Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) is a sweet, adorable child. She’ll also wonder why the heck Finn is just now meeting her.
Anna will have a serious problem with Hayden’s lies and all the damage they’ve done. General Hospital spoilers say Anna will rip into Hayden, who’ll defend herself as best as she can. Of course, there are some things Hayden has to own up to. She’s already expressed regret to Finn and will inevitably do the same with Anna.
However, Anna may suggest Hayden’s guilt doesn’t undo Finn’s suffering. It also doesn’t give him back the time he’s missed with his little girl. Furthermore, Anna’s instincts will kick in and tell her Hayden has more secrets. She won’t trust that Hayden’s telling the whole truth even now. Anna will wonder how Hayden expects to develop any kind of solid co-parenting strategy when she’s still lying.
GH fans know Hayden is indeed deceiving Finn and most other PC residents about Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcua Coloma) survival. Since Anna will suspect something’s up with Hayden, she’s bound to follow the trail. Anna will view Hayden as a threat to her relationship, but this may be more about protecting Finn’s heart. She won’t know exactly what Hayden’s hiding or just how bad it might be.
Hayden’s latest round of deception certainly isn’t as bad as lying to Finn about his own daughter. It was cruel to tell Finn she had a miscarriage and let him go thinking their child was gone forever. Hiding the truth about Nikolas is more about Nik than anyone, so it doesn’t affect Finn all that much – at least not yet.
General Hospital spoilers say Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will target Hayden in the coming weeks, so that could certainly affect Finn, Violet and even Anna.
