General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) dangerous ex may be trying to reach out. On March 24, Ava received an eerie call on her cell phone. She could only hear breathing on the other end, so her eyes widened as she wondered if it was Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
That led Julian Jerome (William deVry) to grab the phone and tell the caller to stay away from his sister. Julian and Ava have both mentioned their desire to see Ryan alive, but only so they can kill him! General Hospital has been dropping huge hints about Ryan’s survival, and this seems to be another one.
It’s not like Ava’s got a ton of friends and family members who would have her number. Ryan is the most likely person to call Ava and creep her out with intense breathing on the other end. The Canadian police and other northern border cops have given up on Ryan surviving his terrible fall, but what if he never fell at all? There’s a chance Ryan made it out alive by clinging to the underside of the bridge.
No one saw Ryan go into the river, so it’s possible he never had a wet landing. Even if he actually tumbled into the water, that’s a small obstacle for a guy like Ryan. He’s very resourceful and this is a soap, so we shouldn’t get too hung up on the explanation here. If General Hospital wants to make this comeback happen, it’ll happen.
Based on the show’s latest clues, you can bet it’s indeed happening! Too many Port Charles residents are battling doubts about Ryan’s death. Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) made a good point when she talked to Ava about Ryan. She suggested Ava should keep her guard up and not assume that Ryan’s gone for good.
Felicia thought Ryan was dead after that funhouse fire, but she was obviously wrong about that. Are the cops wrong about Ryan’s presumed demise this time, too? All signs point to Ryan returning – perhaps to get killed off for real this time. Ava deserves her chance to avenge Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) death, so GH fans will hope she gets it.
What will Ryan do if he comes back and goes after Ava as expected? Will he recreate his history with Felicia and kidnap Ava? Will Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) be snatched up as well? Ryan might use the kid as leverage to make Ava do what he wants.
However, Ryan could also provoke Ava like never before. It he goes after Ava’s only remaining daughter, Ryan will pay with his life! We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
