General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will remain on Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) mind. He still views Liesl as a serious threat and has no intention of letting her blow up his world. Brad will realize he needs some help if he’s going to take care of his problem. He’ll turn to his trusted ally, Julian Jerome (William deVry), as he works to keep his secret.
Brad will inform Julian that there’s an unexpected snag. He’ll insist Liesl knows the truth about “Wiley Cooper-Jones” and could derail everything. Julian will think Liesl’s pretty harmless – at least at first. His dismissal of the threat will force Brad to spill all. General Hospital spoilers say Brad will admit he fibbed about one part of his earlier story.
Julian will learn that Brad swapped the real Wiley with Jonah Corinthos. It was Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) that Brad encountered, not a random homeless woman like he previously claimed. Brad will admit Liesl delivered Nelle’s baby that night and ultimately put the pieces together.
As if that weren’t enough of a bombshell, Brad will admit he shoved Liesl off The Haunted Star to silence her. General Hospital spoilers say Julian will be livid over Brad’s deception. He might made different choices if he’d know “Wiley’s” real identity. Both Brad and Julian will be concerned about provoking Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wrath.
However, Brad will think they have to deal with the imminent threat and that’s Obrecht. He’ll feel confident that if they can eliminate Dr. O, they’ll never even have to worry about Sonny. Brad will insist the key is making sure the secret never comes out, and the only way to do that is to get rid of Liesl.
Julian will wonder what Brad’s suggesting, so Brad will make himself crystal clear. General Hospital spoilers say Brad will order a hit on Liesl. He’ll remind Julian of his mob background and argue that it needs to make a comeback. Brad will remind Julian of what’s at stake for Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) as well as Julian.
If the truth were exposed, Brad will contend that Julian wouldn’t be believed. Julian can claim he didn’t have the full story, but Brad will wonder who’s going to buy that? Certainly not Sonny. It sounds like we’ll see really Brad’s ruthless side here. Desperate times call for desperate measures! Brad will use what Julian knows as leverage to push him into a murder.
Naturally, Julian won’t just agree on the spot. He’ll need some time to mull this over, so Brad will give him a few days. Later, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will share something with Julian that changes his plans. It may involve a comment about Sonny and how nasty and vengeful he can be.
There’s no word on how Ava’s words will influence Julian, but he’ll make a dangerous decision during the week of September 16-20. Of course, Julian isn’t going to kill Liesl in the end. There’ll be some scary moments that point in that direction, but GH won’t let Julian do away with their best comic relief!
