General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will soon have two big problems on his hands. One of those problems will be positive on some level. Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) will inevitably awaken from his coma, so that’ll be a relief. Brad certainly wanted Lucas to wake up and come back to him, but he’ll worry about the consequences of what he spilled before the crash.
GH fans will recall the tense moments before Lucas plowed into Kendra Lennon’s (Michelle Argyris) vehicle. He revved up the pressure until Brad finally blurted out that “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson) wasn’t their son. Brad admitted he belonged to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).
However, General Hospital writers gave Lucas a head injury, which seems like a dead giveaway that he’ll be unable to remember Brad’s confession – at least not right off the bat. Of course, that won’t stop Brad from worrying that the memory flood will come later. He was a nervous wreck before, but he’ll be an even bigger one after Lucas awakens.
It’s easy to imagine Lucas recalling snippets of their conversation and trying to put all this together. Brad will surely start to sweat as Lucas struggles to remember the missing pieces. Lucas may draw a blank until a familiar name is in the news – especially if that familiar name kidnaps “Wiley.”
Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) will undoubtedly get out of Pentonville one way or another. Whether she scores her freedom legally or simply makes a quick getaway, you can bet she’ll make beeline or “Wiley.” Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) mentioned that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) doesn’t know what Nelle looks like, which seemingly sets up an encounter and an opportunity to swipe the tot.
If Nelle swipes the kid from Willow the babysitter, Willow could look at a picture and eventually identify her. That might be enough for everything to click into place for Lucas. Hearing Nelle’s name and realizing she went after “Wiley” could jog Lucas’ memory.
It sounds like Brad’s problems could collide into his worst mess yet! Brad will ultimately have to face the music, so General Hospital spoilers say he’d better prepare for Michael’s fury.
