General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a new actress has joined the cast of the ABC soap. Brooke Burgstahler will be playing the role of Zoey, so GH fans will be eager to see what she’s all about. Not much is known about Zoey just yet, but it looks like she’s in the right age bracket to be a love interest for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
There’s been some buzz about General Hospital turning Michael’s current love triangle into a quad, so that may be the show has in mind. Michael has been growing closer to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), who happens to be the real Wiley Cooper-Jones’ birth mom. She doesn’t know her son is dead, and Michael doesn’t know his dead son is actually alive in the form of his godson!
Clearly, Michael and Willow have some shockers in their future. For now, they’re just maintaining a friendship while Willow falls for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). He’s awfully smitten and Willow’s warming up to him, too. Where does that leave Michael? Perhaps in Zoey’s arms! Michael seems a bit lonely, so it’d be good him to meet someone new and hit it off.
Plus, the timing is right. Michael didn’t like receiving a valentine from Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), but it helped him realize something. Just before Michael threw it away, he noted that Nelle didn’t have power over him anymore. Nelle always takes the opportunity to bring up Jonah Corinthos with the intention of hurting Michael. However, Michael’s keeping Jonah in his heart and moving on.
Maybe moving on will involve dating Zoey and seeing where that leads. Of course, we could see some partner swapping down the road. In some ways, Willow seems closer to Michael than she does to Chase. She can’t open up as much to Michael due to his connection to “Wiley,” but there’s definitely a deep emotional bond between them. Their bereavement group meetings really brought them together.
Zoey and Chase might hit it off at some point, too. Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Zoey will land in the orbit of two Port Charles men. Will Chase and Michael be the hunks she encounters? We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
