General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a love triangle is brewing, which could leave fans pretty divided. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is still coping with her grief over Oscar Nero Quartermaine’s (Garren Stitt) death, but we all know she’ll move on soon enough. Oscar wouldn’t want Joss moping forever and things are always sped up in the soap world.
It won’t be long until Josslyn’s falling in love again, but which guy is her best new match? GH viewers were loving Joss and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) chemistry long before Oscar even died. In fact, it seemed like General Hospital only pumped the brakes on putting Josslyn and Cam together because of Oscar’s demise.
They had to make Josslyn stick with Oscar so they could do the mourning they’re doing right now. It would’ve still had an impact if Joss and Oscar were simply friends but not nearly as much. Oscar needed to remain someone Joss loved a great deal, so Cam took a backseat and many fans waited patiently.
Now here comes Dev (Ashton Arbab) to shake things up! Some GH fans were instantly intrigued by the idea of a Joss and Dev pairing. It’s clear that Josslyn finds Dev fascinating and complicated. She’s already learning there are more layers to him than she previously thought.
However, it seems unfair to just toss Cam aside like yesterday’s news. Cameron and Josslyn’s chemistry shouldn’t be ignored simply because Dev is now in the mix. On the bright side, the ideal love triangles are ones where you root for one side but don’t entirely mind the other. No matter which camp you fall in, it’s easy to imagine Joss with either of these teens.
General Hospital spoilers say some awkwardness will develop between Cameron and Josslyn soon. Dev may be part of the reason why. Joss might be forced to keep secrets from Cam to keep Dev out of harm’s way. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) intends to pass Dev off as his cousin, so Josslyn will have to play along. That may include lying to Cameron as well.
Then again, the awkwardness could stem from Cam and Joss’ connection to Oscar. Cameron could serve as a reminder of what Josslyn’s lost. He was a good friend to Oscar and quite close to this deadly situation. Josslyn may be more drawn to Dev as something fresh and disconnected from the pain she’s endured.
