General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Tamara Braun (Kim Nero) is most likely headed for the exit door. Daytime Confidential recently reported that Braun is out according to their sources. Insiders claim Braun’s already wrapped filming as Kim, so it’s time to start thinking about how she’ll depart.
There are a few options to consider here, so we’ll start with the simplest one. Things obviously aren’t going to work out with “Drew Cain” aka Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). He’ll get his memories back and reunite with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) sooner or later, so Kim’s out of luck in the romance department.
Kim blew her chance with Julian Jerome (William deVry) by surrendering to this Drew delusion. The loss of Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) still stings, and Kim has reminders of him everywhere she goes in Port Charles.
If There Is A Drew Cain Recast Kim Nero Could Return To Town
It would be perfectly logical for Kim to leave town like she wanted to do before. Julian won’t be going with Kim and neither will Franco, but she could find a fresh start on her own.
That would leave the door open for Kim to return if a Drew recast enters the picture. If Billy Miller ever reprises the role, they honestly shouldn’t bother. Braun and Miller just didn’t sizzle onscreen together. Sometimes the chemistry just isn’t there – and that’s OK! It’s just important for the show to recognize it and move on.
Kim might work with a Drew recast depending on who they got to play the part. That doesn’t seem like something GH is interested in doing anytime soon, but they could leave their options open and have Kim simply hit the road. She might head to Manhattan or pick a new destination to land at.
Friz Reunion Could Cause Kim Nero To Do Some Dangerous Things
There’s always a chance Kim could be killed off, but the story just isn’t set up for that right now. That doesn’t mean we can rule it out, but it does mean it’s less likely. Even so, there are other ways Kim could head off canvas. Prison or Ferncliff could be in Kim’s future if she doesn’t take Franco’s upcoming news well.
A “Friz” reunion could easily cause Kim to come unhinged and do some dangerous things. General Hospital could deliver a more exciting exit arc if they took that route. It wouldn’t be unreasonable after some of Kim’s behavior since Oscar died. She probably needs more help than she’s getting in a few therapy sessions here and there. Institutionalizing Kim could end up being in her best interest.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers suggest Kim’s exit is rapidly approaching. If Braun’s indeed already finished filming, it won’t be long until Kim’s departure strategy is revealed.
