General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Billy Miller) will face a crushing blow. Some horrible news is headed his way during the week of April 1-5. Of course, Drew’s world pretty much revolves around Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) right now. Nothing else matters since Oscar only has about four to six weeks left to live. It makes sense that this crushing blow will pertain to his sick son.
Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) warned Oscar, Drew and Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) that more seizures were coming. She’s always tried to be brutally honest with Oscar and his family. Attempting to conceal the gravity of the situation won’t help them come to grips with all this. Oscar has to face the facts, so Terry let him know his next seizure would likely be far worse.
Unfortunately, Oscar won’t be able to cross items off his bucket list for much longer. Terry pointed out that Oscar’s episodes will ultimately become debilitating. There’ll come a time when Oscar will struggle to walk, eat or even talk. It sounds like Oscar’s next round of drama will kick off around the time of Drew’s devastating blow.
Perhaps Oscar’s seizure will send him to GH again and give Kim the horrible news to pass along. The next time Oscar lands in the hospital, he may not be able to leave. Oscar returned to school in hopes of living a normal life for as long as possible, but that’ll be a thing of the past soon. This doomed teen will have to accept that his death is imminent, and there’s nothing he can do about it.
There’s a chance Oscar will move this process along through his involvement with Dawn of Day. He reached out to Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) about alternative treatments, so Shiloh could offer some weird strategy that’ll hurt more than help. Oscar is getting desperate, which is why Drew and Kim really need to keep a close eye on this Shiloh situation.
However, there’s also a chance nature will simply take its course. Terry’s timetable isn’t set in stone. A month to six weeks was simply the most time Oscar would be looking at. It could be less, which would certainly break Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) heart. General Hospital fans can’t forget about her in all of this. Joss will be a wreck as Oscar inches toward the grave and she’s forced to say a tough goodbye.
