General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, December 20, reveal that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) prepared to return home from the hospital, but first Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) had a quick question for Franco. She showed him the photo of the man who tried to kill him and Andre Maddox (Anthony Washington) in the OR, but Franco had never seen him before.
Franco then wondered why Jordan wasn’t asking Drew Cain (Billy Miller) about the man, and Elizabeth and Jordan shared a look, which Franco noticed. He wanted to know what was going on with Drew, but Elizabeth put him off until they got home. There, she told him that Drew was missing and presumed dead. Franco was devastated by the news but decided that he had to live his life and be happy to honor Drew.
Franco and Elizabeth then kissed, but Elizabeth pulled away and Franco wanted to know what was wrong. Elizabeth then told him that while “Drew” was in his body, he slept with Kim. Franco looked absolutely horrified.
Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) spoke with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) at their home. She’d been doing research on Peter August (West Ramsey) and the gunman from the OR, but she hadn’t found a connection. Finn advised her that in the absence of proof, perhaps she should just choose what to believe. Later Peter and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) came by and visited, and afterwards, Anna decided to let the whole thing go.
But then, as she was putting away the files on Peter and the gunman, she noticed something. Turns out, Peter was at a company called Eurotech at the same time that the gunman worked there as well – and Eurotech was a DVX fronted company. Anna was horrified to have found the connection. How long can it be before clever Anna finds the shocking extent of Peter’s guilt?
At the Corinthos house, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) welcomed Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) in for a playdate with Wiley Cooper-Jones (Theo and Erik Olson). He shared the story of how he had custody of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) for a while, which startled Willow, but she reserved judgment and the two had a nice time with Wiley.
Over at GH, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) got a visit from Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), who needled her about her big plan to get stabbed. Nelle innocently insisted that she was attacked by a serial killer, but Martin didn’t buy it. He questioned why he was “doing this” with her, and he said that he just wanted to ultimately be paid. Jordan then came in and announced to Nelle that she was going back to Pentonville, prompting Martin to chase after her to try to do something to stop the process.
Meanwhile, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) sat with an unconscious Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and lamented about his current situation. Julian Jerome (William deVry) then called Brad out to speak to the doctor, who updated them that Lucas was in a coma and that he was being transferred to Turning Woods for long-term care. Brad got upset and went off, but soon learned that Nelle was in the hospital, so he went to her room.
There, Brad unleashed on Nelle, telling her that everything that had happened was her fault, and that he was underneath her thumb but didn’t have the guts to get out. He then stated that he should do what he should have done long ago. Nelle looked worried.
Out in the hallway, Michael, Willow, and Wiley arrived. Michael stepped away and ended up speaking to Martin, who he warned stay away from Nelle. Elsewhere, Jordan updated Julian that there was too much damage to the undercarriage of Brad’s car to determine why the brakes failed. And Nelle rolled up in a wheelchair next to Willow and Wiley and remarked on what a beautiful baby boy she was holding.
