General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, March 8, tease that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will make it to their next stop. They’re moving across Turkey and gathering Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) clues along the way. During their upcoming conversation, Sonny will get troubling updates. He’ll ask the person he’s speaking to if his son is dead.
Thankfully, Dante hasn’t met a grim fate yet. There’s still time for Sonny to track him down and save the day. Speaking of saving the day, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will hope to rescue Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) ditched poor Carly in the snow, so she’ll remain unconscious and in dire need of medical attention.
In the meantime, Jason will search Ryan’s room at the cabin and realize he’s headed for Canada with Ava Jerome (Maura West). Once Laura Webber (Genie Francis) is brought up to speed, they’ll rush over to the footbridge. General Hospital spoilers say Ava will try to reason with “Dr. Kevin Collins” before they arrive. She’ll insist that they have to call 911 and fix this.
Since Ryan won’t approve, Ava will grow increasingly concerned. She’s in for another shock once Jason and Laura show up. As Jason aims his gun at Ryan, Laura will reveal that “Kevin” is actually his evil twin. This will set up Ryan’s crazy decision to send himself hurling off the bridge with Ava, so expect some hot drama.
Back in PC, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will stick to the plan. He’ll push Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to do the same in Friday’s GH episode. Valentin will argue that what Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) doesn’t know won’t hurt her. He roped Sasha into a fake daughter plot, but he’ll think the result was worth it. Nina finally has her heart’s desire, so it’s all good in Valentin’s book.
Over with Peter August (Wes Ramsey), he’ll agree to whatever scheme Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has cooked up. Maxie will wonder if Peter ever says no, but the truth is refusals are reserved for other people. When it comes to Maxie, Peter is always on board.
Across town, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will meet with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth). She’ll point out that Daisy Kwan (Kelsey Wang) stopped by looking for forgiveness recently. Sam may mention that strange tattoo she spotted as well. Kristina probably won’t have much information, but Sam will still try to find out what she can.
Talk will turn to Jason during this chat. Kristina doesn’t know their split is a sham, but she may sense that Sam is still drawn to Jason. She’ll ask if going back to that life is really what Sam wants. Sam will tell a few more fibs and focus on getting Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) out of the picture as soon as possible. This guy is bad news, so Sam needs to step up her game.
Elsewhere, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will face a tough task. Julian Jerome (William deVry) will need Alexis’ help, so she’ll deal with the emotional roller coaster he tends to bring.
