General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, September 20, teases that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will tackle pressure from Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). After Spinelli overhears part of Peter’s phone call, he’ll mess with Peter a bit. Spinelli will suggest he hopes he wasn’t disturbing Peter and comment on the serious nature of the call.
Peter may brush off Spinelli’s concerns, but he could be unsettled by this threat. He’s putting out fires all over the place, and things are only going to get worse. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will continue to dig for Peter answers with Spinelli’s help, so he’ll fill in Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). He’ll also want to make sure Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) gets back to Pentonville without a hitch.
However, that’s not going to happen thanks to Peter’s plot. His minion is posing as a guard, who’ll trick another guard into thinking the warden has new orders. After Shiloh testifies in his own defense, he may face a quick guilty verdict. The evidence is pretty overwhelming at this point.
Shiloh will be prepared for transport soon, which is where the guard confusion will come in. Peter’s hired gun will insist the warden wants a two-man operation. He’ll want to take Shiloh back to Pentonville alone. Peter has promised to reward his lackey handsomely if he takes care of Shiloh once and for all. Unfortunately, the job will be botched when Shiloh escapes and causes chaos.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have a secret to share. She’ll tell Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) there’s something she hasn’t admitted about the baby. Carly will give Bobbie the latest news on her baby’s spina bifida and the worries she’s facing. This is a scary time for Carly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but they’re hanging in there.
Over with Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab), he’ll battle some fears of his own. During a chat with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Dev will make a statement that perplexes her. His comment about “whatever happens” will leave Joss wondering what he means. Dev may not be convinced Sonny and Carly are in this for the long haul. He might feel like a burden that’ll be kicked to the curb sooner or later.
Fortunately, Josslyn will give Dev some support and make him see that Sonny’s committed to helping him. Sonny sees a lot of himself in Dev, so he has no intention of giving up on him – even if the scheme gets tricky. There’ll be more suspicions surrounding “Cousin Dev” in the weeks ahead, so he’ll have to be careful.
Across town, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will grill Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) about her future. She’ll sense that Maxie’s feeling unfulfilled in her career and ask if her pal’s leaving Crimson. Maxie’s gone about as far as she can possibly go with the magazine. She’s ready for a bigger challenge, so she may admit that’s indeed the plan. Lulu is always a supportive bestie, so she’ll offer plenty of encouragement.
