General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one ABC soap alum has something to celebrate. Some GH viewers may recall that Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, once played a nurse on General Hospital. Meghan Markle went on to star in popular shows like Suits before joining the royal family, but now she’s taking on her most important role ever: Mom. She just gave birth to a new baby boy. Meghan and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, welcomed a son early Monday morning, so everyone’s celebrating right along with them. It’s always exciting when a royal baby comes into the world!
The couple’s official Instagram account made a sweet announcement, which revealed the baby’s gender and some info about their bundle of joy. The caption said, “We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz.”
The statement also confirmed that Meghan and her son are doing just fine after the birth. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wanted everyone to know how thrilled they are over everyone’s enthusiasm. “The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.”
General Hospital fans are certainly happy to hear this fantastic news. People all over the globe are eager to see pictures of Prince Harry and Meghan’s new little one, so that’s something to look forward to. They also haven’t released the name of their first child just yet, but they’ll have some updates once they’re ready to share.
