General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one ABC soap star had some difficult news to pass along. GH viewers know Briana Nicole Henry currently plays Jordan Ashford, but plenty of fans still love and remember the character’s previous portrayer, Vinessa Antoine. Of course, fans also might’ve heard about Antoine’s real-life romance with another GH star, Anthony Montgomery (Dr. Andre Maddox).
Vinessa Antoine and Andre Montgomery were a gorgeous couple who had plenty of General Hospital watchers rooting for them. It’s always fun when a cast members find love on set, even if they move on to other projects like Antoine or don’t pop up much in Montgomery’s case. Sadly, it looks like it just wasn’t meant to be. On social media, Antoine made an announcement about her new single status.
“And just like that…she was single,” Antoine said. She added a broken heart emoji to let everyone know she was upset over the end of her relationship. Naturally, General Hospital fans were quick to chime in with words of support. Everybody wanted to send his or her love during this difficult time.
One viewer tweeted, “You made a beautiful item but remember sometimes good things falls apart so better things can fall together!” Another fan said, “So sorry Vinessa. You guys made a beautiful couple!!!” Other GH watchers offered advice or supported Antoine’s new path. “She’s a catch…won’t be long,” one fan insisted. It’s clear that fans are rooting for Antoine to push through her heartbreak.
Fortunately, life is still looking up for Antoine. She plays Marcie Diggs on CBC’s legal drama, Diggstown, which was recently got renewed for season two. Antoine’s acting career is going strong, so that’s something to be happy about. We all want our GH family to succeed, even if they leave the characters we love behind. Vinessa Antoine is out there making things happen, so we wish her continued luck.
As for what’s next in Port Charles, General Hospital spoilers say Jordan and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will have a chance for romance once Jordan’s recovered and back to her old self.
