General Hospital (GH) spoilers has some exciting news to pass on about a popular GH star. Tristan Rogers, who portrays Robert Scorpio on the ABC soap, recently announced on social media that his family is expanding!
Tristan took to Twitter to make the announcement that he is going to be a Grandpa. His message was stated plainly but aptly shared his enthusiasm and happiness with the news. He stated: “I’m proud to announce I’m gonna be a grandfather. Yeah.”
Tristan is married to Teresa Parkerson, and they have two children, Sarah Jane and Cale Rogers. Tristan hasn’t yet shared which of his children is going make him a grandfather for the first time, so fans will have to wait for further word on that.
The good news comes just before Tristan makes another highly anticipated return to General Hospital. He’ll be helping Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) attempt to figure out the mystery surrounding Anna’s contraction of a dangerous virus. It appears to be a deliberate attack on Anna, so Robert needs to get involved.
Tristan will be busy in the upcoming months preparing for a grandchild, as well as filming an adventure movie, “Kid With The Cape.” The movie is currently in pre-production and is about a 12-year-old budding magician who acquires a magical cape.
