General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that some fans are still unsure about Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) latest love interest. Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) – or “Hot Dustin” as Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) likes to call him – is indeed hot. He’s also charming and sweet so far, but things could change as the story moves forward.
Some viewers are still worried that Dustin’s just too good to be true. When someone’s perfect on the surface, it’s often a sign that there’s more going on under the surface. Just look at Maxie’s situation with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Maxie is convinced Peter’s turned his life around, but he’s growing darker and darker behind her back.
Since Dustin has been giving Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) advice, there have also been concerns that GH will take him into creepy mentor territory. Most of us hope not since the show already did a similar scenario with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and Dr. David Bensch (James DePaiva). There’s no need for a repeat when the story was gross the first time!
Is Josslyn Jacks’ Interest In Dustin Phillips A One-Sided Crush?
Dustin hasn’t done anything inappropriate yet, so General Hospital could make this a one-sided crush for Josslyn. There’s also a chance Joss genuinely just appreciates the guidance. Whatever the case, let’s hope any secrets Dustin ends up keeping will be related to something else.
General Hospital spoilers say there’ll have to be some drama eventually, so will Lulu and Dustin’s fresh romance survive it? That probably depends on how TPTB are feeling about what’s happening onscreen. Just like some fans are on the fence about Dustin in general, some fans are on the fence about “Lustin’s” chemistry, too. It certainly can’t compete with what Lulu and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had.
Should GH fans keep holding out hope for Zamprogna’s return to the show? The fact that they didn’t kill Dante off may be significant. It could mean they expect Zamprogna will make a permanent comeback at some point. Zamprogna has been open about his love for the show and his willingness to pop back in for visits. Could that willingness to visit turn into a full-fledged return?
Would Dominic Zamprogna Have An Interest In Returning?
Zamprogna doesn’t seem to have many projects cooking based on his IMDb page. If he doesn’t get the projects he’s looking for, perhaps Zamprogna will reprise his role as Dante eventually. If not, General Hospital could always recast. Dustin is a blank slate for Lulu, but it some ways he may be a little too blank! There’s nothing special about this love story at the moment.
