General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is recapturing something important: hope. All the Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) chaos has really been weighing her down, but she was light as air in those fun scenes with Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson). It’s clear that he’s interested in Lulu – although he was the perfect gentleman.
Lulu now has hope for a new romantic path, but trouble could be brewing. Dustin is handsome, smart, thoughtful, funny, hard-working and pretty much anything else Lulu could want in a man. He really checks all the boxes and could fill the void in Lulu’s heart. However, we can’t help but notice that Dustin seems a little too good to be true. No one’s perfect on a soap, so what skeletons are in his closet?
GH fans know there’s still an unknown key player in the Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) drama. Once Shiloh grew desperate enough to use the flash drive, he needed to get his hands on it. Shiloh called someone up, suggested it’d been a while and asked this person to do a job for him. After the safe at Aurora was broken into, this mysterious ally delivered the flash drive to Shiloh.
Of course, we never saw the face of Shiloh’s latest partner in crime. We also don’t know much about Dustin other than he’s a man of many talents. The show has emphasized the fact that Dustin has more than one job. He’s a teacher as well as a driver, but could he have been a safecracker for Shiloh, too?
Let’s consider some new potential clues. Dustin was on hand for the softball game, which might’ve offered some hints. Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) – owner of the Aurora Media print division – hired Dustin as a driver so he could be part of the team. We’ve got an Aurora link now that could blow up if the safe secret gets out.
Dustin also moved into Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) orbit. That may tie in with some big developments for the duo. General Hospital spoilers say Peter and Maxie will face a shocker soon, which could have something to do with Dustin. During the week of August 19-23, Peter will also get an unnerving phone call. Meanwhile, Maxie will conceal her true motives.
These two will obviously be up to something. It sounds like more snooping and shakeups are brewing. Maxie may be forced to once again meddle in Lulu’s love life, which makes sense considering she was already spying on Lulu and Dustin. She seemingly learned her lesson after what happened with Dante, but she also can’t stand by and watch Lulu get hurt.
Maxie could be in quite a jam if she suspects Dustin and Shiloh are connected. Fortunately, this wouldn’t completely knock Dustin off the list of Lulu’s potential suitors. If he did this favor for Shiloh, he may not have grasped the implications of it. As for whatever went down in the past, Dustin appears to be on a better path despite this possible hiccup. He could be redeemed for this flash drive blunder.
