General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) fears will intensify. She’s got a nagging feeling that she’s being watched, but everyone else seems to think she’s being paranoid. No one would blame Ava after everything she went through with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), but GH fans know she’s exactly right. There’s indeed someone lurking in Port Charles – and he’ll soon show his face.
A Halloween bash will kick off at the Metro Court, but Ava’s concerns will remain. She may end up noticing a strange masked guest while she parties. At some point during the gathering, that same guest will have a literal run-in with Laura Webber (Genie Francis). Laura will be taken aback when she accidentally collides with this mystery man. She won’t realize it’s most likely her own son underneath!
Some GH fans don’t seem convinced Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Nick Stabile) will make his grand reentrance. However, there’s some strong evidence that points to it. General Hospital spoilers say this mystery man will follow Ava back to her gallery, where she’ll eventually pull a gun on him. That’ll give Ava the upper hand, so she’ll force this intruder to take off his mask.
It’s also significant that Laura crosses paths with this guy beforehand. She recently talked about losing Nikolas and how she could relate to Ava’s loss of Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin). Nikolas’ name is popping up like crazy, which is a tell-tale sign that his return’s just around the corner.
General Hospital spoilers say a major reveal is looming in the codicil storyline. This revelation will affect Ava, Laura, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). All the puzzle pieces are lining up for Nik to make his comeback.
After Ava’s gallery bombshell, Laura will struggle with doubts before reeling over new information. Doesn’t it sound like Laura will learn Nikolas is alive? That’s certainly something she’d doubt and then reel over. Jax will later stop Laura from making a mistake, which could be tipping off Valentin. As for Ava, she’ll keep a big secret – which ties right in with Nikolas’ return. GH buzz says it looks like Valentin’s takedown will move forward.
Ava certainly wouldn’t be protecting Ryan or anyone else who was a serious threat. Nik though? She’d be willing do him a favor. GH writers may want viewers to believe Ryan or one of his lackeys is out to get Ava, but this should just be a soapy fake-out for Halloween. What better way to reintroduce Nikolas to the canvas?
There’s no official word on who will play Nikolas when he resurfaces. General Hospital viewers can hold out hope for Tyler Christopher, but a recast seems more likely at this point.
