General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, December 16 Update – Valentin’s Victory Looms – Franco’s DNR Worries Liz and Cam – Laura’s Revelation

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, December 16, teases that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will battle concerns along with Cameron Webber (William Lipton). As they keep hoping Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will wake up, Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) will deliver some difficult news. He’ll explain that “Drew Cain” signed a DNR order before he was put under, so he’ll fade away for good if things go south.

Cam and Liz will grow even more nervous, but Franco will start to stir soon enough. It won’t be long until Liz learns if Franco has come back to her. Based on clues in upcoming GH spoilers, it looks like Franco will indeed wake up as himself. As for Peter August (Wes Ramsey), he’ll face questions from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Peter will likely realize Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) been filling Anna’s head with all kinds of disturbing thoughts about him.

Of course, Jason is exactly right, but Peter won’t want Anna to know that. He’ll play the part of a kind, helpful son and act hurt that Anna would struggle with doubts. Nevertheless, it seems likely Anna will trust her instincts and keep searching for the truth.

Next, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will urge Nik to stop all the interruptions. He’ll just want an opportunity to take care of business, so he’ll need Nik to park it somewhere and quit causing chaos. At the gallery, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will be hopeful about this very lucrative evening. Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) portrait will be up for auction – and Ava will expect it to go for a fortune.

Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will be on hand as some very important guests arrive. However, Ava will be most interested in the guests who want the coveted codicil. Jax, Laura Webber (Genie Francis) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will discuss the painting before the auction begins. They’ll also wonder whether Ava knows about the codicil’s existence or not.

Curtis will feel confident there’s no way anyone’s leaving with the portrait besides them. Laura won’t be so sure about that. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will walk in with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), so Laura will immediately worry about their chances.

General Hospital spoilers state that Laura will share troubling updates while she’s at the gallery. She’ll want to talk about Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), so Nina and Valentin should listen to what she has to say. When Charlotte mentioned her “secret bodyguard, Laura assumed he was just a figure of the kid’s imagination. She feels like Charlotte must’ve been so traumatized by her kidnapping that she created this bodyguard to feel secure.

Little does Laura know the bodyguard is real and happens to be Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma)! Once Laura reveals what she knows, will Nina fear that Nik has been in touch with Charlotte? Regardless, Nina will turn her attention to Ava soon. She’ll toast to their plan and leave Curtis curious about what Nina might be up to.

Valentin will also face some tension with Jax, but he’ll think they should let their deep pockets do the talking. General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will want to let the best man win! He’ll be surprised when Jax gets pulled away and he ends up in a bidding war with Laura instead. Valentin’s poised for a victory, but some curveballs are headed his way before long.

As for Charlotte, she’ll be pleased to see Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) at the Metro Court. Charlotte will drop a hint about them having a sleepover, so Lulu and Dustin will look a bit bashful. General Hospital spoilers say an action-packed episode is coming up.
