General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, July 29, tease that Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) will likely scoff at his attorney’s advice. She’ll insist Shiloh had better agree to a plea bargain or he’ll be spending the rest of his life behind bars. Shiloh obviously won’t be interested in giving up his freedom for any amount of time. He’ll probably think he can beat the legal system like he always does.
Meanwhile, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) will be ready to spill all. She summoned Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to manipulate him, but her chat with Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) brought a change of heart. Nelle is genuinely worried about the threat Shiloh poses so she’ll tell Michael there’s something he doesn’t know about Jonah Corinthos.
As GH viewers might suspect, this is a fake-out. Nelle won’t be divulging the truth about Jonah, but the reason why should be a big surprise. Some type of technological disaster will alter Nelle’s plans once again. By the time the issue gets resolved, Nelle may decide to stay tight-lipped. Shiloh has no claim to “Wiley Cooper-Jones” without DNA evidence, so Nelle might realize there’s no need for alarm.
Then again, Michael might just leave and refuse to accept Nelle’s call ever again. If she can’t get in touch with Michael, she can’t tell him the truth. Whatever the case, this baby swap storyline will continue as Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) reaches out to Julian Jerome (William deVry). Willow will decide Julian deserves a chance to prove he’s changed. She’ll suggest she’d like to clear the way for him to be in “Wiley’s” life.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) will mull over a tricky situation. They’ll speak with Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), who may have something in mind that Bobbie and Carly disapprove of. Carly won’t seem more than mildly annoyed by it. She’ll feel like they have to accept whatever makes them happy.
Of course, it’s possible the four of them will be talking about other pair of Port Charles residents. Whatever the case, Bobbie should agree with Carly eventually. Meanwhile, Michael will meet up with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) after leaving Nelle at Pentonville. He’ll be shaken up over her cryptic comment and all the pain she brings when he sees her.
It looks like Michael will open up to Sasha about the Nelle drama he faced and the “death” of their child. Michael hates that he’s permanently connected to Nelle through this loss, but he should feel better after confiding in Sasha. Sasha, on the other hand, will battle more guilt since she’s a lying manipulator, too. She isn’t as twisted and cruel, but we all know she’s setting Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) up for heartbreak.
GH fans can expect Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) to commend Drew Cain (Billy Miller) as well. He’ll note that whatever Drew did is very impressive, so what will Franco mean? It could connect to Franco’s desire to bond with Cameron Webber (William Lipton). Franco would love to have the kind of bond Drew and Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) had, so he may praise Drew for achieving it.
However, it seems more likely this will be about a package that’s set to arrive. Drew will get a box from someone mysterious. He’ll open it and find a memento, which might tie in with his time as Navy SEAL or some good deed he did once upon a time. Franco would praise Drew for his award, but Drew may feel weird since he wouldn’t remember earning it.
General Hospital spoilers say this will lead to more revelations about Drew’s stunning past. Could Shiloh be behind this mystery box or is it someone else? Will Shiloh be trying to control Drew in some way? Regardless, Drew’s got a wild ride ahead of him.
Finally, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will be ready to get the show on the road. She’ll gripe at Chelsea Lamb (Jen Ray) the psychic for not getting in touch with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) fast enough. It seems Chelsea will face some distractions thanks to other flashes in her head. Ava will get fed up and suggest Chelsea should be reaching out to her daughter. She’ll think Chelsea’s just wasting her time at this point.
