General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, November 18 Review - Jason Is Sam’s Liability At Trial - Franco & Kim Part - Liesl's Wiley Slip

General Hospital (GH) spoilers review for Monday, November 18, reveal that Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) bench trial got underway with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) on hand for support. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) defended Sam masterfully, arguing that Sam was defending Jason who was unarmed and in imminent danger at the time she shot Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).

The Assistant DA, who was late to the trial, proceeded to portray Shiloh as a healer and a hero to many, and described Sam as someone who held a grudge against Shiloh for what she believed he did to her sister. Both Jason and Sam testified, and each got good points across that were helpful to Sam, but the DA pointed out that Jason wasn’t really someone in need of Sam to defend him, so that cast doubt on Sam’s self-defense story.

Of course, if Sam is found guilty, which General Hospital spoiler say she will be, then Jason’s going to feel horribly guilty about the whole thing, since the Assistant DA’s case was basically all about Jason having a huge rap sheet and not being a “defenseless” person. At the end of hearing from Sam and Jason, the judge announced that she was ready to make her ruling and asked Sam to rise for the verdict.

Meanwhile, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) told Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) that he couldn’t leave Port Charles with her after all. He explained to a tearful Kim that he couldn’t go because of what he had learned from Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) about how Franco had saved Drew Cain (Billy Miller) as a boy. He stated that he now had to do the right thing and try the memory reversal procedure.

Kim then stated that she intended to leave Port Charles without him, and that she simply couldn’t stay and watch him try to have the memory procedure reversed. She said that without him and Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt), that there was nothing left for her in Port Charles. After declaring their love for each other, Franco left and immediately went to GH where he found Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and told her they needed to talk.

Finally, Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) had an interesting conversation with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Liesl approached Lucas at GH and Lucas took the opportunity to blast her for blackmailing Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). As Liesl stood there amused, Lucas told her that he knew all about how she wrote Brad a prescription for anxiety meds and blackmailed him into altering test results.

At this point, Liesl told Lucas point blank that Brad’s a liar and is eminently capable of lying to him. This enraged Lucas, who fired back that he could go to the authorities, which then prompted Liesl to tell Lucas that she’d be happy to reveal the cold, hard facts about Brad and Wiley Cooper-Jones’ (Theo and Erik Olson) father.

Brad then happened to walk by and hear Liesl and Lucas bickering. He rushed over and Liesl remarked that if Lucas’ manners don’t improve, then both he and Brad would live to regret it. With that, Liesl walked away and Lucas hit the roof. He insisted that Brad reveal what else he’s hiding and exactly what Liesl meant about Wiley’s father.

At this point, it would seem that Lucas would have to know that something really big is up with Brad, and it he were smart, it seems like he’d just go to Liesl and fish for more information rather than relying on Brad to come clean, which it looks like he’s never going to do. Brad is holding on to his secret with everything he’s got, since his life (at least as he knows it) basically depends on it.
